Tazer should not interfere with the Banks product.
Yeah, I looked closer and I was wrong. Anything I used in the past plugged into the OBD, so I incorrectly assumed this was the same.

Kind of like what I said in the post above yours. 😁
I meant interfering in other ways, such as preventing functionality. You can still use jscan, for example, because tazer passes things through and doesn't block or change anything - it's a pass-through (and security bypass)

I'm not a "tazer fanboy" - never needed one, can only think of maybe one or two things it might do for me, but - I also won't slam it needlessly, either.
It doesn't use the OBD port, as far as I can tell after reading hundreds of posts about it, and checking their web site, I see nothing indicating it interferes with other accessories (such as blocking or modifying signals, electrically causing issues, that sort of thing).
There's only one thing I'd do "just because" and because it's safer - and that's remove it for certain dealership visits. Not all - but the paranoid part of me prefers safety if that safety move involves only a couple of minutes of time.

So if you have decided you need/want tazer and are looking at the Banks product, I see no reason you can't do both - physically, and system-wise as far as the "electronics".

I had a Banks Pedal Monster on a Ford vehicle with a OBDII "Y" splitter and it messed up any bi-directional use of the OBDII port and other connected devices. Could read fine with it installed, just bi-directional control was sketchy until I disconnected the Banks Pedal Monster tap in.

Physically, yes. Financially... that's a bunch of money to do both for what little I want from them!

I guess I was meaning Tazer doesn't really cause issues.

OTOH, if I was using any diagnostics on my vehicle, or wanting to change any settings, clear codes and so on, I'd unplug anything that was plugged into the OBD port - like the Pedal Monster.
i figure - for diagnostics, or changes, I don't want to remap the pedal or have something else hanging on that port that could modify any signals.

Thus the reason I don't own a tazer - I'd not be getting anything from it I really NEED (or want that badly) so I can't see over $300 for maybe one thing that might be nice. .
Personal financial choice.
The future is still unknown - but for this current point in time, that's how I read it.

I want to be rid of the throttle lag and the ESS, but not enough to pay that much. Maybe if either one did both...
Like you say, maybe in the future I'll want something to make it worth it, but for now I'll wait.

push the menu button twice and flip on the front camera to see if my winch is going to hit someone when I pull in a parking spot. Lots of goodies in that upgrade, highly recommend.
Mine will only bring up the rear cam. How do I enable the front one?

If I'm hooking up a snow plow or similar, I have the ORP up much of the time, so i just choose vehicle, and front camera.

Otherwise, I've really never needed the front camera so a couple of taps on the radio screen do it for me.

I've learned how to park in places without hitting anyone in trucks, Jeeps, cars big and small.

Half the drivers on the road would be in big trouble if not for things keeping them from learning the limits of their vehicles.
Our teacher would have us drive him to his house, park properly, he'd go in and get a cup of coffee and set it on the dash......... you can guess the rest. No helpers when it came time to angle park or parallel park.
Heck, i don't even have any depth perception since my right eye doesn't work.

My grandmother trained me to drive with a few old folding chairs. Start by bumping them so you learn where everything is, then practice NOT bumping them. Then In high school I had fun making my passenger scream be brushing my mirror on telephone poles!
She also taught me to "drift" the car into a parallel parking spot. Not a normal grandma...

Double tap mute brings up rear but I can not switch to front.

Bring up front the normal way and I can switch to rear.
