Just wanted to give a shout out to these guys. One of the most annoying things about Jeeps is the sun fade on the cowl and other various parts that just makes the Jeep look worn. That’s been true for years and they haven’t done anything to correct the problem. I just discovered Distinction Applied and made a small order to see if the products were bupkis or legit. I can now say it’s legit. Just ordered bumper covers for the windshield bumpers on the hood. Small part and there really isn’t a way to make them fancy. It’s a piece of plastic that clips on over the bumper. Well my thoughts were proven to be wrong. They are quality. Even if it is just a piece of plastic the paint is immaculate and just what I was looking for. It’s not a cheap chinesium thing that feels like it will break in a 30mph drive. Here’s the link. Give em a look see.

Not to diminish their products (they look great - but out of my tax bracket for just something to look pretty) I have had great luck using this Cerakote Trim Coat on two Jeeps and my Camaro. It brings the plastics back to true black and lasts quite a long time.

I need to order some more actually. Haven't done the truck yet.

Ohhh I really love that, but for the price they'll have to hold onto them 😭

Again - not saying its too much, I just can't justify it for me.

Looks great. I have been looking for that ring that goes in the center of your steering wheel. For some reason the chrome came off of mine. I have not been able to find anything nice.

i also have the cowl and hood bumpers. I got them for christmas but would buy for myself. Id love to do my interior, but i cant justify the price for a cosmetic upgrade when i can spend similar money for functional upgrades/ (i need to replace my stock front driver shaft for an A/M and i want some armoring is my example in my head)

They have products I will be watching. I appreciate what they offer and i think the quality is there for them to succeed.

Some of it is fairly pricey, but it’s a good break every now and again. Studying suspensions and wheel choices and this and that when there’s so much in the market sometimes gets overwhelming. Gives my mind a break from over thinking when there’s a product that I only have to decide on the color of. Over time I intend on going Gobi for the interior. Right now it’s all black and although it does look pretty good I’d like to see a little color in there when I’m driving. Exterior I’m going to do some pieces in the same color/graphic I got on the windshield bumpers.

Dirt Road Cred pubs them a lot on their Youtube channel. I think you can also buy some of the items through the DRC website.

I recently damaged my driver's mirror - I was able to put it back together about 90% new. Considering OEM mirrors are not cheap anyway, I've been thinking of getting painted mirrors and door handles, but yes, they're even more pricey. And they also require a core exchange and I'm not sure how that would be handled considering my driver's mirror is not quite 100%.

Their items are a little expensive but they also have a core refund that takes off almost 50% of the purchase price that brings it down to a reasonable price on most of the items.
