I installed the Mopar Auxillary switches in my Mojave. I know I need to have the dealer program the Uconnect for full functionality. My question is should I at least see a light when the buttons are pushed, right now before the dealer does anything? I have nothing, no light or anything to confirm I did install correct.

Ok, but I can't do that without a Tazor, or dealer, right?

Just hooking them up doesn't turn them on then, so no lights is expected, correct?

Tazer, Jscan, AlfaOBD, or a dealer visit is needed to activate them. You also need to go through the harness and check all the fuses first. If any are blown, they will not activate. If you followed the Mopar instructions exactly as written, it is very possible that at least one fuse is blown.

The switches won't light up UNTIL they are activate by a Tazer/Jscan or dealer. If I was you, I would just by a taser and activate it myself. Dealer will charge you some ridiculous amount to activate it. So you better off getting a tazer and using all the other features in it.

I watched a YouTube on the Tazor enabling them. You simply turn them on. That said, this is something I want to get installed as well. I am going to get the entire thing quoted from Jeep. We’ll see how much they want for the install. The aux switches are mid 3’s by themselves. Dealer probably wants 2 hours. We’ll see.

A Jscan or AlfaOBD setup would be much cheaper than a Tazer. But any of those would be better than paying a dealer to do it.
Yeah, everyone on the payroll for tazer even though it's a lot cheaper to use the software, and the software also will do some amazing things, including some deep diagnosing, and in the case of jscan, it's got an off-road screen, and the ability to up the idle speed for winching or jumping other vehicles and so on.

I don't have tazer, don't miss it, and yet have done a lot with jscan and alfaobd - including gathering detailed logs that led to at least two Jeep repairs and have made mods to my trucks, more cheaply.

It's only fair to let the OP know - there are OPTIONS, at least 3 of them, varying prices and varying abilities.

If I was you, I would just by a taser and activate it myself. Dealer will charge you some ridiculous amount to activate it. So you better off getting a tazer and using all the other features in it.
And if I were him, I'd just buy either JSCAN or AlfaOBD and do so much more - and with AlfaOBD, on as many Jeep or FCA vehicles as you wish as it's not tied to a single VIN like tazer.
? ? ? ? ? ? ?
Then he can track misfires, and so much more.

They want 3 hours It's a really easy install just time consuming.

So, I’m learning here. Looks like I need this cable and a blue tooth obd and the JSCAN app. Has anyone went this route?

YUP - this pic is AlfaOBD but I also have JSCAN.
I have used these to set tire size, add passive entry, using JSCAN I have upped the idle speed for jumping another Jeep (can use it for when using a winch as well), I've used it for diagnosing, tracking misfires, checking or changing a number of things.
MX+ adapter, security bypass cable and JSCAN.
I was using AlfaOBD on my tablet in the pic below.

This blue tooth OBD seems to be able and cheap.

Yes you absolutely can.

And you can track issues, check and reset error codes and more.

I think I have one of those, too.
As long as the JSCAN site says it's ok, then it's ok.
