Been awhile since I shared some datalog info with you guys. And I have said from the get go that data doesn't lie, custom tuning is a must do if you want your Jeep running as best as possible and this log is proof! Wanted to share some datalog pictures and some estimate HP and TQ figures from a recent customer I wrapped up, 2018 JL 3.6 6MT, basically sea level in Flordia. Yes, your JT tunes the exact same way!

Below you will see a datalog on stock tuning with 87 octane in the tank..........

The PIDS are self explanatory, but look at the Knock Retard (red line, middle of chart vs. time table) at wide open throttle. This Jeep was pulling up to 8 degrees of timing, settling with pulling 5.5 degrees. This is because factory timing tables are way too aggressive for 87 octane. What this makes your Jeep do is constantly pull power. Also, look at the top of the log, that map with red and green on it is a simulated representation of a Jeep VE table (VE tables aren't actually used on these, but it is a great way to map out fuel trims), this jeep was as much as 6 percent lean during crusie. That's fine for emissions, not fine for best power and best longevity. Here is the summary of stock numbers on this log

1st datalog
247 HP @ 6300 RPM (Peak HP)
233 TQ @ 3800 RPM (Peak TQ) with sustained TQ to redline being 205-210
Fuel trims, everything overall was about 5 percent lean

Below is the 4th datalog from this customer after 3 tune revisions.

First off, look at the fuel trims, damn near perfection. Look at the knock retard, this pulled about 4 degrees of timing and then quickly resolved itself back to 0 knock retard before redline. Look at how much better and flatter the torque curve is (blue line at the bottom), look at that HP number! These numbers were achieved with 3-4 degrees of timing REMOVED from the factory tables! This is huge guys. Granted, this is not a dyno, but the data (HP, TQ, aircharge) does not lie. A dyno should show similar gains, I just haven't had time to get to one (slim pickings in my area). Here is a summary of that log.

Last datalog
283 HP @ 6300 RPM
254 TQ @ 4500 RPM (Peak TQ), 245 TQ @ 3800 (prior peak TQ Rpm), with sustained TQ to redline being 230-240
Fuel trims, 0-2 percent rich

Just wanted to share this with you guys. My whole point of doing this tuning for you is to make your Jeep stronger, more reliable, safer on 87 octane if you must run it, eliminate the stupid VVL hi lift disaster, fix the crappy cam scheduling, and make these things run how they should have from the factory.
