Hey fellas. So I ordered the AEV Borah beadlocks to run with some 40x13.50 Yokohama Geolander M/Ts. I'll be running the Metalcloak 4.5 springs and Clayton arms. Now the problem is the +25mm backspacing on the wheels. Are these going to be a problem as far as rubbing? I was originally looking at a 0 offset, but really wanted the Borahs. The bourbon said screw it, we'll make it work. I don't want to run spacers to be honest, but I may not have a choice. If it's rubbing on just the arms I may be able to deal with that. This rig will be lightly wheeled on the muddy, rocky trails of the PNW. Also it's not a daily driver. Thanks in advance.

I’m only on 35’s with +25mm and have no problems, but I think you may have different results with the 40’s. Good luck!
lol, I can’t believe that the bourbon voice got one of us in potential trouble. I’m pretty sure that never happens.

+30 Black Rhinos on 37's. Only slight rubbing that I need to deal with at some point. Not enough to worry about right now.

40s? Damn! What gearing do you have? Unless you did an engine swap and dumped a Blastolene 12 in it.

I tend to do that after a bottle of St. Bernardus ABT 12.

+25 is a great offset if you've got 12.5 width 35s or 37s (wide axles)

going up to 40s with another half inch inward on those 13.5s? Can't speak with certainty, but that sounds like rub city.

Do it right, cancel the wheels or sell em. Don't do spacers on a quality build like you are heading with.
