The previous owner of my Gladiator must have stored bricks in his door nets. The nets hung almost to the point of showing under the closed doors. So obviously, this was one of the first things I wanted to change. I recently found a new product for replacing the door nets on Amazon. They're not perfect, but are worlds better than the original nets. I paid $53.00 for these (all four), which is considerably cheaper than the other options out there. Pictures and link to the product below.

The pockets come with tabs that insert into the door and adhesive velcro strips in the middle. They also have some grommets to screw the pocket to the door, but i haven't done this so far. I was able to leave the nets in place in case I ever wanted to return to stock, but i think I may get an even better fit if I remove the nets. As a bonus, the symbol for the brand (Joytutus) is a "JT", obviously this works nicely with a Gladiator 👍. All in all, I'm very happy with these.

The original package I received came with two front passenger pockets, and no driver door pocket. I contacted the company and got a response very quickly back offering to send me a replacement. I ended up just exchanging them through Amazon since the shipping was faster. Still, I'll give them kudos for responding to my email within a few hours.

If you have any questions on them, let me know.

Hopefully this helps someone else that needs a budget friendly option for replacing their nets.

Even carrying plastic bags, causes the nets to droop.

Thanks for sharing, I dislike the hard plastic ones that take up foot space. But curious to see how these are after a few months.

Question. Does it pick up mud and mark up easy from foot contact?

Anything's better than those nets! Drooping or even tight like new.

Now that winter is here - I'm wearing snow boots more often. Like hiking boots - they have those metal "clips" that you wrap the laces around near the top. I can't begin to count the number of times I've gotten myself hung up on those nets as I swing my foot out and those clips latch on to the netting. Last time, I actually got 3 of those clips tangled in the netting as I shook my foot trying to free myself. Took forever to figure out which ones needed pushing and which one needed pulling before I could even get out of the truck.

I hate those F-ing things!!

I haven’t had them long enough to know for sure, but the fabric seems like it would wipe clean easily enough and may be sort of water resistant.

Same here. Have several Joytutus products and they are well made. Work well and reasonably priced.

I own a medium size printing company.
If you want a little more storage, I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBVKWFPN?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

They look cool, don't take away much space, are easy to install, and are tough.
I bought some just like that....but the part that comes out was in the way. My leg was constantly touching it. (I''m tall and maybe that's why?)
I ended up buying a version that is flat all the way across but now there really isn't room to put anything there except maybe papers and I don't put papers there. lol
I'm liking that nylon versions the op posted up. Think I just might give those a try.

Worst Jeep idea ever. I have a panic attack when my wife and kids put things in there. They do absolutely nothing but look bad if you put anything in them!!

Yeah I was worried about legroom too. That’s why I went this route. This product doesn’t give you any more space to store things than the nets, but at least you can actually use them.

The ones I ended up with were like this. And there is only about an inch of clearance so not much good for anything. At least with the nylon one, it would have some give and allow more when you need more cause of the stretch and being soft.
