Pretty sure there is a button labeled "screen off" that shuts off the display doesn't it?
Yes, but doesn’t control the rest of the lights unfortunately. Short of using a taxer, I think the portable radio may be the best answer to the problem. Darn shame.

Gotcha, that's a bummer...

I had the same issue at a drive in. I ended up using some towels to cover the interior dash lights. I think the halos just stayed on and hopefully didn’t bother anyone. I have a Tazer and didn’t know about the dark mode. I’ll have to give it a shot next time.

At least you guys still have a local drive-in!

Kevin
From a site talking Iowa drive in theaters -

There were nearly 70 drive-in theaters operating in Iowa in the 1950's. Since that time 94% of them have closed leaving only 4 operating drive-ins in the state.

Nothing local although Newton isn't too far away.

I have been looking for information re. how to turn off halos when I stumbled across this thread. Not sure if I got what I was looking for but the range of discussion was impressive.

I used a Tazer mini and shut off all my DRL functions. So no halos or anything.

I have read a little about the Tazer and the Dark Mode. This may be the only option but I was hoping to find some factory method of turning off the Halo's. Thanks

Does this work? Settings>lights>daytime running lights.

I’ve never tried dark mode, but that may work. I went to the Tazer settings and completely shut off the DRLs
