I went with the Kicker KS series all around. 3.5 inch in dash, 6.5 inch in knee panels, 3.5 and 4 inch in soundbar. Put in a Kicker Key 200.4 amp to run the speakers. Finally put a Kicker Sub in back running off a Kicker Key 500.1 amp. Couldn't be happier with what I got in the end.
Just put the Kickers in. They sound great!!! I can't wait to hook them up to an EQ and amplifier.

Can you please post a picture of the sound bar with the new set up?

Although I have since went to 6x9, the setup v with 3.5 and 4 inch looked stock. Both sizes fit perfectly in the respective spots.

Which 4" kicker did you use? I don't see a 4" on Crutchfield. Thanks

Sorry to keep bothering you..Are the 6x9's much louder than the 3.5"+ 4" set up? I'm trying to decide which route to go.

If I may interject...yes. it will be a much fuller sound than with the factory setup. I got the mounting kit for 6 1/2 inch speakers. If I would've waited a couple months I would've got the 6x9 kit. Here's what I currently have and it's better than the factory speakers.

Also IMO to truly achieve "good" sound an amp, multi channel equalizer, and probably a cross over are essential.

I wouldn't go with the stinger as there is no IP rating and that could fuck you if youre topless. If you never are then I guess youll be fine, however I still highly recommend Insane Audio over it.

I'm looking at it and I think I agree.

Which model on the 4" did you go with? I'm not seeing a lot of options coming up in Crutchfield for the 4" I'm thinking of doing the same. I just received my two 3 1/2 Kicker KSC350 for the front dash.

6x9's bring in more mid-range and are louder if using an amp. Not sure about adding them in on a stock system without amp. There is work getting them in, no going back after you cut the soundbar to get them to fit. I feel it is worth it if you add in an amp.
