My 22 Mojave is 1 week out of warranty, and I notice my carpet was wet under my rubber mat while doing Spring cleaning. It didn't feel soaked, so I assumed could have been winter snow melt leftovers, pulled the mat and hoped it would dry.

Monday was a real hard rain and when I got back into the Jeep, carpet was very wet confirming this is a leak. I compared drivers and passengers doors and the door seal gasket didn't look as compressed as passenger so I ordered a new driver's seal. Parts sent me the wrong side, so while I wait for the correct side, it started raining hard again today.

The area under my pedals is dry, so the water is definitely coming in near the door threshold/hinge area. I popped off the edge of the dash trim, poked around and saw water pour down the inside edge of the body, where I circled. I think it is coming down the side of the windshield side, not from cowl, but not sure.

Freedom panel channels look dry, nothing obvious out of place. Hoping someone has found a fix for a similar leak.

I haven’t heard about this yet for JT’s but definitely an issue on JK’s. My ‘16 JKUR leaked on the passenger side about even with the side view mirror. I bought some adhesive backed weather stripping and added it over the door seals. Problem solved.

Known problem, just search

I've watched, then researched reviews... Many saying things didn't improve or even got worse.

I am hoping someone can help pinpoint the issue, not just blanket add gaskets everywhere.

Interesting. I ended up adding a little body side gasket, and more under body channel to angle out towards door. It may have fixed in, but I did install a new gasket that finally arrived.

I think it is solved for now. Certainly slowed.

One thing to note was that all my doors were repainted by the dealer for corrosion, and I believe driver's door was new but gasket reused. Potentially it never lined back up exactly and had memory.
