Reading about the dolts trapped in the Nevada desert at Burning Man had me thinking. I've been wheeling almost 40 years, everything from Moab to Rubicon to Missouri to Florida including foreign countries. I have NEVER had to navigate 6-8 miles of flat, straight road that is 6-10" of mud. Would both axles locked be the ticket? Slow and steady. I've only dealt with short stretches of mud but there were other things going on as well. Would love to hear from folks who've done something like this.
