18" heavy "Heart Attack" snow. Rode all around in 2 WD. Put it in 4 WD and f and r lockers in a unplowed abandoned parking lot just to exercise the stuff. Turned TC off in 2WD. No problems. The path I made riding around almost reminded me of a half lowered plow, due to 8" or so of under carriage in the snow.
Gotta go find some trails and old logging roads, just for the hell of it.

Compared to the last 3 p/u trucks I have owned, this one is far better in 2WD than the Ranger, Dakota and lastly the 2015 Colorado Z71. Never really tested the Dakota in 4WD. The Colorado even in 4WD was not so great in even 12" snow.

I have 35" x 12.5 x 17 BFG KO2's installed

Old thread but I saw the title and had to check it out.
I have basically no experience in snow except for zero snow traction sports cars.
I picked up my Mojave this may and I’m hoping to get some practice in snow this winter. A big open parking lot would be a fun place to learn.

I had a friend get stuck in a drift that crossed the trail. Whenever we tried to pull him out, his rig would slide closer to the drop. We later realized that under the loose snow of the drift was a stream that had turn to 10 inches of frozen ice. Lesson learned.
