Dude, I crashed my Gladiator! =(

I truly hope we have a very safe vehicle here, but accidents will happen. I hope we all live safe happy lives and are buried in our JTs (VOLUNTARILY).

So before anybody crashes their JT (hopefully hasn't happened yet) I have started this thread. If you do have an unfortunate incident, please share with us what happened, how the JT held up, how you held up, ect. We are a community here, lets help each other gain insight into our new rides!

Without crash testing, we don't know how well our Gladiators will hold up. I don't think the IIHS has even crashed a JL yet, and the JL had horrible ratings from Europe.

I can see how you would think this; however, with 75,000 jts sold per year, a few fender benders are bound to happen. I don't wish accidents on people, i just want a centralized place that our community can gain insight and become more knowledgeable about our rides.

Death (the ultimate price of an accident) is a part of my workplace. We don't deal with it every day, but to bury your head in the sand and dispute it can't happen to me, is not prudent.

Totaled this Nissan last night. He didn't have his headlights on and was riding right in the middle of a narrow road I was making a left turn onto. He swerved back on his side but not before I made contact with his front and bumper and road up and over his fender with my rear driver side tire.

My jeep has zero damage other than some scuff marks on the rear tire.
