Knobs are pretty light, I may swap out for a custom Shift Solutions. I like a heavy knob, lol

Down the road though.

I have a long history of custom shift knobs, rofl
You like a heavy knob in your hand 🤪 I won't judge you LOL

Fedex literally just dropped this off. Cooper wanted to inspect immediately.

Amazing packaging, everything you need, new hardware, torque values, alignment tool, release bearing.

Going to check prices on a new slave cylinder, and figure out what fluid I want to swap to. Or maybe just OEM until I lift and change brake lines.

Very excited. @ACTman not going to lie, was very tempted with McCleod's offering (mostly with their hydraulics and S550 mustang offerings), but I've had great success with ACT in the past, and your involvement in the Jeep community made this my choice. Just wanted to say thank you for helping everyone on here, and dropping serious knowledge about the OEM clutch shortcomings. Wanted to support the vendor that supports our community!

I still need to make the clutch install post, lol

I fiddled with Jscan today.

Use the clean phasers procedure, did all 4. Intake phaser 2 sounded quite a bit different than the rest, which may not be great.

Reset all adaptive ecu data. Which Im hoping is a KAM reset. Going to look into this more.

I adjusted my fuel tank size that the ecm recognizes, added 2 gal to it, for 24 gal. 91 liters. Im hoping this will adjust the gas gauge for 19.5 fills instead of 17.5 fills once low fuel. It didnt magically change the miles to empty, maybe with a refill and reset it might.

So, general dicking around. Used their idle control, and offroad controls for the first time. Good stuff!!!

Ok, still havnt uploaded my clutch install pics/vids, lol

Havnt installed much of anything.

Lots of stuff to do though.

Trans fluid swap
Transfer fluid swap
Oil change

Install Voswitch
4 Diode dynamics lights to install.
2 cowl, two on the front bumper
Oracle running lights! Keep forgetting about them

Trying to plan out my eventual lift.

Thinking 4.5" Metalcloak. Im tired of high centering, lmao

So now its tall enough to run flipped steering on those Reid knuckles.

Metalcloak ball joints

Some kind of updated steering, lol

Adams front driveshaft

New front axles, thinking FAD delete.

Not sure if I want to do rears.

Plan is to run 37", which hopefully doesnt look too tiny with this lift, lol. I just dont want to go much bigger. Not looking at 1 tons, or truss work yet. 37" are that sweet spot.

Going to regear to maybe 5.38's. I find my 4.10 to be super sluggish as is. 5th and 6th are useless for my style of driving. So I'd rather get a little more rpms going for them. Darn 3.6 and its lame power band.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Trying to beef it up to do more cross country wheeling. May build a small offroad trailer RTT setup as well. So Im not going to load up the JT too much. Want to keep it as a very functional offroader.

Ok,

Oil changed
Transfer case fluid changed
Transmission fluid changed
4 tire rotation, criss cross.

26,832 miles.

Nothing alarming in any of the fluids. That Slippery Pete line of pumps is f'n great. First time using the gallon one. I am used to their smaller pumps. Fantastic stuff.

I like redline lubes, so after making sure they had an appropriate spec'ed ATF, went with it. Im hoping it will smooth out the shifting a bit. Downshifting to 1st can be real notchy. Probably wont do anything, lol

Added Ceratech to the oil. I run it in my Bullitt, and the Coyote guys swear by it, so decided to see if it quiets anything down.

K&N filter is missing 2 bolts. Overall its pretty cheap with blow molded plastic at those spots which compresses and cracks, instead of a solid piece of plastic to clamp with. Poor design. I'll have to source new hardware.

My prefilter is doing a great job. Really keeps bigger crap out of the pleats. Very happy.
