they would be encapsulated in ice and rub on the tire
Plenty of space between tire and light I did have to remove the wings on my steel bumper to get full effect from the light
Seems that they would take a beating mounted directly to suspension instead of bumper or body.
I have had them mounted for six months now running the desert and rocks and see no problems

Dude!!! I just looked at them!! Steering lights! That’s genius! They track with the knuckles going into turns.

That may seem kinda hinky but I had something like it on my VW and absolutely loved them for mountain roads. You can actually see where you’re going before going there.
We have a few cars with LED adaptive headlights. They’re pretty great. I’d break those lights pictured though.

The Gatekeeper mounts have to be my favorite easy mod
10-25-2025 Two of two Gate keeper brackets and KC lights.webp
Well I can tell you just by looking at that picture the way thenwiring is installed it won't last long.
I see many places where it will rub with the motion/turning and soon you will have shorts and no lights.

OK, I've searched and found not what I need:
the connector for the 'factory' fog lights in the stock JT bumper; how does it disconnect? I cut it off to get the bumper off, going back on now but would like to unplug it first. I see what looks like a tab to release but it doesn't seem to do anything. A photo would be nice (or two...)

Every jeep owner will find out eventually. Your sun visor will fall out of its socket. Don't know if that was fixed by your 2025 model
2020 still going strong 6 yrs later. No issues.
Same with my passenger side. The driver-side was replaced early on and hasn't fallen off yet.

I think they’re pretty cool and definitely want a set for my truck. They should do good in SoCal deserts too. I was just wondering if anyone made this type of thing for Jeep headlights the other day.

It follows the speed sensor wire and if you understood how the spindle turns there is no rubbing. I wired plenty of lights in the dealership and always worked out placement before mounting and never had any issues

If you follow wiring down around axel it is up against a bolt head it appears. If it is in fact against that bolt head the vibration against it will in time wear a hole in the insulation and could result in shorting to frame.
