I just remembered why I also went with eBay. Distinction applied charges an extra $100 to match the rubicon grey trim on the grille. eBay seller did not. So for me DA would’ve been $800+I too want this grill but find $580+$50 shipping for a painted aftermarket one is just not enough savings over the $630 + $75 shipping for the factory Mopar one Distinction is selling. I have been considering the matte black aftermarket one from eBay though since my factory one is the satin anyway. Thanks for posting!
That $15.99 looks to be just an OfferUp default because if you look in the description of the ad it says it is $50 to ship to the lower 48.Migjt be a regional thing. Mine says $15.99 but that’s shipping like 250 miles vs > 1,000 if you’re on the west coast.
Have you by chance compared your aftermarket grill with a factory OEM 2024 one? Wondering if there are any notable differences.First grille they sent was painted PWT when it should’ve been PW7. Other than that, fit and finish is good. It’s good enough for me.

I haven’t had the chance but I’ll try to do it. From where I’m standing now it looks pretty darn similar. the rivets that run across the top look the same between my stock grille and this new one.Have you by chance compared your aftermarket grill with a factory OEM 2024 one? looks like a job for the HF $19.99 sawsall and can of touch up paint, then a quick post on FB to offset the ridiculous price for the 2024. I’m also calling bs on the better cooling…where you live will put that to the test. I want to see some before and after coolant temp/oil temp/trans temp numbers to prove me wrong…it does look great on the rig. This is the new winch gap vs the damage done to my original grill by the winch.

I put it on for winch clearance, looks, and maybe some help with the cooling. In that order. The RPM fan controller already does a good job keeping it cool. I doubt I’ll see much difference. But 290 sq in of opening compared to 100 sq in has to count for something, right? (My math might be off a bit LOL)I’m also calling bs on the better cooling…where you live will put that to the test. Thanks for doing this, I’m in the middle of changing out the POS grumpy thing that came on mine back to an original I bought off FB, it had the JL inserts and I also tracked down a set of JT inserts. The more I stared at both the inserts, the smaller holes on the JL version looks more pleasing to me compared to the larger holes version. Math aside, your test results have helped me decide. ThanksQuick test shows the same 192° at idle that it would run before the change.
It looks like they painted it with a roller! This is the new winch gap vs the damage done to my original grill by the winch.
