Going through the second winter now with mine and it still shows no indication of rust. It came with no holes for the sensors which was a plus for me. This county does not spare liquid Brine or salt on the roads along with living at the shore it has held up well. Being parked in a garage thats never colder than 65 degrees helps activate the ill effects of the salts evil work in winter
