Does the GC have any of these options: adaptive cruise, forward collision warning, lane departure warning?
If it doesn’t have any one of those features, does it have, or did you install the rear view mirror that has the smart beam camera attached to it?
I have all those features. The only way to get the auto high beams from factory on this GC was to have the premium light group which I couldn’t get. But as far as I know the camera should work

You probably don’t have the correct forward facing camera module on the windshield. There are two part numbers for it, one with all those features, and one with those features plus auto high beam.
Is yours part number04672773AA?

I don’t know the part number since it was already on the Jeep when I got it

I have part number 04672777AA
Ok, I had to run a bunch of VINs to filter part numbers for rear view mirrors and forward cameras. Protech II only equipped GCs (ACC, FCW, LDW) and Protech II/Premium lighting equipped GCs both use the same forward camera part number and rear view mirror part number, which means you are properly equipped for auto high beam, and that part number you have is good. Only when equipped with just premium lighting group (no forward camera) is the auto high beam feature handled by the rear view mirror.

So, confirm these settings:
VehConfig 1: Auto High Beam- YES
2014 CBC Config I/O & Feat.: Auto High Beam Module Location- HALF
CustSetMenu 1: Auto Park CSM Present- YES

Connect to the BCM and scan for faults, make a note of any faults, and clear them.
Connect to the Lane Control Module and scan for faults, make a note of any, and clear them.

Make a run with the auto high beams activated, and in the correct requirements for them to come on (over 15mph, dark/no lights shining back on the forward cam, etc).
If they don’t work, re-scan those two modules for faults again.

Finally got a chance to try this on my June 2019 JL using JScan.
All the programing appears to have set correctly. I reset the radio as instructed to get the settings to appear.
When I checked the box for the auto high beams in the settings it unchecked itself.
I then add ECC AHBM Lin communication to present and the twilight sensor to on after reading in another forum.
The radio setting unchecked again after checking it.
I will wait until tomorrow evening a try again just in case it needs to time set.

Has anyone got this to work with JScan or is it just the 2019?

as far as I can see no faults andthe settings you listed are exactly what I have set. And it is enabled on the Uconnect settings. It tell me in the evic that auto high beams are enabled. What could I be missing?

If it will help, and I'll let our resident expert (Jimmy) determine that, I can connect to my wife's 2021 Grand Cherokee - Limited, I believe.
It came standard with most things we usually had to order as options, and it does have most packages as well.
Let me know if it would help and I can use AlfaOBD and save out a log of current settings or any module requested. I fumble my way through it as I don't use it every month but I eventually get there. IF there's a specific thing to run or check, just point me to the right screen.

If Jimmy thinks that would help I don’t have a problem checking it out. It might throw some insight on why don’t work

Pulling the right lever towards you will enable auto high beams if you have ACC.

Yes it does but does not work even when evic states it’s enabled
No cars within a close proximity to you or lights that could throw it off and it not switch to auto?
