Engine fan speed increases after start up

Sometimes after starting engine the engine fan will increase speed. Even after sitting overnight or an 8 hour shift. It will run at the increased speed for maybe 5 mins then return to normal speed. Anyone else experience this?

It is usually to stabilize air conditioning high and low side pressures. If your HVAC is turned on, this is why. It probably won’t do it if your HVAC is off.
