Engine replace after 525 miles

This would have been a great time to use a battery-powered tracker (that you could later download) to see where/how they drove it.

great point!!! Ah, but I found out that the service adviser took it, too. Oh, how do I know that,
the Uconnect tracked him to his residence? Whereas, with the foreman of the service department, there is no record of the drive through the same service (Uconnect).

The knock was pretty bad you could feel it just sitting in the truck. They worked on it for a couple weeks and couldn’t figure it out. FCA offered a new engine vs wasting more time trying to diagnose.

Weird, that's exactly what mine sounds like at 23000 miles.... going in next week for the dealership to look at it.

As much as I hate the idea that's what I hope at this point. It was fine until they put 7 quarts of oil in and I didn't check it thinking they would know what they were doing. I just changed it again at 4000 miles from changing it and finding it overfilled and it lost a quart somewhere....
Also has lots of fun noise under the passenger valve cover!

New engine time! Lol

that’s what happened with mine. Make sure to open a case w @JeepCares they helped a bit. Gave me a 6/100k warranty for free after that too.

Yeah have the dealer diagnose it first once the tell you what’s up reach back out and they will open a case. You have to ask for stuff they won’t just offer it. At least I’m my experience.

Mine started with just cold noise and a Jetsons car sound when overfilled... I should have checked their work ?. The noises got louder and the knocking is getting louder

Nacho is at the dealer. I showed the service advisor my video of the knocking.... She said that's not a good sound so we will see I guess ?‍
