Hey guys, need some help. My Mojave won't turn off when I push the button. I pulled the fuel pump relay to shut it down and disconnected the negative battery cable to cut power. Any Ideas what the problem might be?

Yes it start. When I connect up the battery the headlights and marked come on immediately as does the gauges and everything. Then push the button and it starts.

So everything is stuck on somehow and the only way to shut it off is cut fuel pump and disconnect battery and separate both negative terminals.

Battery spark is normal for any truck when reconnecting. A lot of things turn on.

Sounds like you have power to the switch. The FOB obviously works.

Drawing a blank here. Pull codes?

I went out and started it at night, noticed the ignition switch button isn’t lit up. Could it just be a bad ignition switch? Turns on, but doesn't turn off?

Possible. Are you the original owner?

I checked the fuses and relays after I heard people mention they were loose out of the factory. I pressed the down, some were loose. That was prior to this happening. I also took out the auxiliary battery to charge it after I let the truck sit too long.

Oof. Did you remove it from the fender or did you pull the PDC?

You can charge it without removing it.

I know,,,,doohh. I took it out the top. I probably jacked something up I guess. I just can't see anything wrong there. I’ll get a multimeter on it tomorrow. The light not illuminating on the ignition switch, any thoughts there?

You probably have one of the 4 PDC connectors loose or damaged. You have 2 options:

1. Watch the Genesis Dual Battery install video on YouTube. Just for the PDC removal and reinstall section. Check the harnesses and plugs for any damage. If none....reinstall PRECISELY and see if the truck works again. You have something loose somewhere.

2. Take it to the dealer and play dumb. Do NOT mention screwing around with the Aux and PDC. Is that dishonest? Yes. They're far worse. Screw em.
