I think Jeep going to eliminate dealers and go direct from manufacturers orders.
State vehicle franchise laws in most states would say otherwise. The only reason EV companies like Tesla get away with it in most places is that they never stood up traditional franchise dealerships and were a direct to consumer model out the gate.

I hate the dealership franchise model with a passion but short of legacy manufacturers just basically going belly up on paper to break their franchise agreements and start fresh under another name and legal entity, I do not see the state dealership franchise model going anywhere.

Ford recently tried to pivot somewhat to a direct to consumer model when they made their own EV division a separate entity, but they are still hamstrung somewhat with their current legacy franchise dealerships not wanting to play ball.

Is anyone finding dealers aren’t willing to negotiate? I have been looking in and out of state. Seems like the dealers are just sticking with their advertised price. Any crazy prices out there have tons of fees or dealer adds. The floor seems like $14-15k off a lower MSRP (59k) and $15-16k off a high MSRP (64-66k). I just thought dealers would negotiate more on a vehicle selling poorly.
Central florida has Mojaves starting as low as 38k, Technically under 38k as their website has an additional 500.00 off internet price.

These guys add quite a few junk fees back in after you contact them. It worked out to about 26% off MSRP after some back and forth.

I am so tired of finding a good price, but then junk fees get in the way. I have been looking nationwide. I still have not found a dealer really willing to make a deal. My best so far is about $15k off at $59k MSRP with $800 in junk fees. That is really not that great!

Well I just ended up buying out my 2020 lease for 32k. Was the best deal for me…put 10k down on my max tow with cold weather, aux switches, technology and comfort packages and bed liner with 39k miles. I got it at 7.5%. Already has a spacer and 35’s …all the 23’s were 39-40k after fees out the door and not maxtow or half my options.

my plan is so wait and see what the rates come down to and how the pricing will be on the 24’s and maybe trade mine in

Well, I think tomorrow is my day to go into the dealership and see if I can strike a deal. I have had issues getting dealers to take anything off their "internet price".
Just wanted to see if anyone has made a deal lately and what you walked away with. Were you able to get anything off the internet pricing?
For context, I am looking at JTR's with a MSRP of $59k. I am hoping to walk away at $44k with all the junk fees (but before tax, title, license). I am still on the fence if the diesel is worth the extra money (MSRP $65k!)... :)

Good luck man! I dealt with this the last 3 months …the junk fees price was 5-7k higher than what advertised price was. I just bought out my 2020 lease as 32k after tax was by far the best deal and the other ones didn’t even have half my options

I'm about to buy a 23 Rubi. I think they were giving me $16k off. More options than I wanted but only one of two I could find in New England with Full Time 4WD, and I needs it bad for my commute. JT Sport has been a great truck but I legit need more capability in severe winter and Part time 4wd+Halogens+soft top with no rear defrost ain't cutting it.

Good news and good news, They kept the 15% off and they kept the 15% off lol.

I finally picked up my truck last Saturday and was able to take advantage of the 15% off that was renewed from the year end sale but was scheduled to "end" on 1/16. I felt pretty confident that the deal was here to stay (and that the 1/16 date was smoke and mirrors) but I was very relieved to not have to throw the dice again. That said, I'd be lying if I didn't say that in the back of my mind, part of me thought that it would be just my luck that I buy the truck (lock in 15%) and then they bump up the incentive on 1/17. Glad the 15% got renewed for all those still waiting or looking to scoop up a deal, but relieved that its still 15% so I'm not forced to kick myself in the a** for not waiting 3 more days to pick it up and missing out a potentially better deal. (though I don't have a crystal ball!)

Happy shopping to all those still in the market!!!

Yeah they did extend it to the 31st. But the problem is there are still a ton of 2023's in transit to dealers. I am watching two Rubicon Ecodiesels that still have not arrived yet and are looking like they may not arrive before 1/31. There are probably 20 others I have found still in transit. The truck has to be on the lot to count for the 15% rebate.

But I am starting to reconsider anyways. I'm trying to get a pretty loaded Rubicon EcoDiesel, but with the MSRP up near $72-73k, even with 15% off and additional discounts from the dealers, I am still looking at $57000 before taxes and fees for a mid-sized truck.

I went and was pricing out 2023+ Colorado ZR2's today and one that is fully loaded with adaptive cruise and heated/cooled leather seats, LED headlights and all that Jazz is ~$51,000 MSRP. So even if I paid sticker for one, I would still walk away $6000 cheaper than a lesser equipped Gladiator. I sat in a Colorado Work Truck today and the interior was almost nicer than the Gladiator.

Jeep just got WAY out over their skis with the pricing and now they really need to be throwing down almost 30% in discounts to get them to align with the rest of the market. I may wait it out until Colorado ZR2's start becoming more available and see if Jeep starts throwing down more money on the Gladiators.
