Bottom line is the current gladiator/JL mirrors are horrible even when not towing and I’m looking for a permanent solution not just a suction cup or strap add on mirror. I tow multiple time a week with a 100” wide boat. The gladiator tows it surprisingly well but the mirrors are horrible for towing.

I've done a number of test drives and every time the size of the stock mirrors turns me off. For me this is almost a deal breaker and one of the reasons I've held off on ordering the Rubicon Gladiator I want. Very interested in seeing the '21 differences.

The location sucks because it's on the doors instead of the body. Attaching an additional mirror doesn't allow the driver to adjust them while driving/backing up like you can with the stock ones. This is another issue with the Gladiator that screams for a factory/marketplace option.

Specifically desired; an option to mount much larger mirrors on the body of the truck that plugs into the current wiring harness in order to utilize the in-cab adjustment features currently available.

The Bronco will have this, so I imagine Jeep will eventually have it too.

I just wonder how long it will take until there is a Bronco pickup. I have seen 2024 published, but that is probably speculative.

This would be awesome. Plus it would have the added advantage of not losing your mirrors when the doors come off. Come to think of it, how was this not the way they sold these, kind of seems like a no brainier. Now you really have me wishing there was a solution like this.

the brake controller hasn't even come out and you are hoping for OEM tow mirrors...

Ideally, I would tow my little Airstream (about 4000 lb. dry) with my JT, and then go hunting from that base camp. The JT would be better for hunting than my Ram 3500, which does have towing mirrors. I see on etrailer and Amazon various clamp-on mirrors. Has anyone come up with good solution? It would be nice to see behind me with an 8' wide trailer.

The CIPA mirrors in the Amazon image above are useless on the JT mirrors. I never got them to stay reliably, so they got sent back. I think I might just go with a camera mounted on the back of the trailer.

Eventually I will find a set of mirrors I am happy with. In the mean time I ordered this from Haloview and waiting for delivery. Wireless camera at the back of the trailer, and a add on mirror that displays camera. it also has a dash cam function for the front.

This look great. Do you have any pics of it installed?

The mirrors are my biggest complaint with the truck. I guess I am spoiled, I also have a F250, after towing my boat and my motorcycle trailer once each with the Gladiator I am back to towing with the 18 year old truck. I should have thought of the mirrors before I bought the Gladiator, but I drove it over night and well the mirrors were not in my train of thought.

There's a guy selling 3D printed mirror extenders here, search for that thread. They work pretty well.
