Extreme Terrain experience?

How has everyone's experience with extreme terrain been? I placed an order on the 23rd of July for some coils from Rock Krawler and they still havnt even shipped... Today I received an email asking if I had received the items yet??? So far I am not impressed at all with them, and am considering asking for a refund and placing my order directly with Rock Krawler...

I've purchased quite a few products over the years from them and have always had a good experience. I've never had any shipping issues with them. In fact, I just purchased two items from them a few weeks ago and both arrived within the expected time frame (and that includes an item that came from a Canadian company they sell products for).

I had one snafu where the picture shown was not what the item looked like when it arrived, and they were able to refund me as well as send a return label so I didn’t pay out of pocket. Aside from that, I save an extra few bucks on each order with their military and law enforcement discount, every little bit helps. I like the fact that you can add your vehicle and color and see all their items based on what it looks like on yours. They also have millions of customer photos to dig through with reviews.

Lots of the items are shipped from manufacturer. They have very little control over actual lead times. They could say could say in stock but 2-3 week ship time and that is what manufacturer sets.

I’ve been using them for over 3 years, no issues. Solid customer service too.

If you haven’t called customer service yet I would do that and talk directly with somebody to get information on your order.

I always go direct to manufacturer. Extreme, real truck, etc. They are all one big amazon wannabe auto aftermarket store. They have the same damn website rebranded like 4 times. But its all the same people.

I have, they said that although the item said it was in stock that the vendor didnt have it. Just seems strange because when I contacted the company directly they quoted in stock with a 3-4 day delivery.

Yeah this is definitely the same impression I have gotten from them. Wont be using them again in the future. Was convenient because I found exactly what I wanted and just ordered it but next time ill be going direct to the manufacturer to order it.

That does seem strange. We are getting so used to Amazon style of online purchasing that if it doesn't get to us right away we want to look somewhere else. I've been doing Jeep upgrades for about a year now and it took me a little time to figure this out. If you can find a source to get the item you want right away you go there, otherwise you have to order from where you can and play the waiting game.
