It's also funny, cause of the "2017 Gladiator" part...
LOL.
I didn't see that.
More irritating for me is that they keep showing that I have a Wrangler because I bought a bumper that will go on a JL or JT. I keep deleting it from my profile but it keeps reappearing. If I didn't use them from time to time I would can the whole thing.

I've had problems with the quality of the items.

Them, no problem at all, that's the whole business model, sell the cheapest stuff you can drop ship, hope it never get's used, if it shows up messed up or fails, replace it no muss, no fuss, asap.

They're responsive on the phone too, so just call.

That does seem strange. We are getting so used to Amazon style of online purchasing that if it doesn't get to us right away we want to look somewhere else. I've been doing Jeep upgrades for about a year now and it took me a little time to figure this out. If you can find a source to get the item you want right away you go there, otherwise you have to order from where you can and play the waiting game.
I started building jeeps in 2004, I've actually sent off a money order back in the day and had to wait as long as 4 months to receive my parts. All of that doesn't bother me because I knew what I was getting into... But when you go to extreme terrain and it says free 2-3 day shipping on orders over 199 dollars and then the order isn't even processed after a full 7 days of waiting I start to get skeptical... I feel that I gave them more then ample amount of time to at the minimum process the order. And if your quoting 2-3 day shipping times I feel like they should have sent me an email letting me know the situation. Waiting doesn't bother me, but poor communication and customer service does. Now that I am fully aware of them being a third party that is simply purchasing from the vendor and then forwarding to us, therefore we know they are taking some off the top from the manufacturer, I will definitely not be using them again and just go directly to the manufacturer.

Most resellers are just a middle man. They order from the manufacturer and have it shipped to you.
The manufacturer will fulfill orders made directly to them before filling orders to reseller.
Manufacturer will usually charge you shipping whereas a reseller won't.

As much as I like to bitch about resellers, they are at the mercy of the manufacturer. I use resellers to avoid high shipping costs and know I am going to have a longer wait.

With all that said, I received a 3" Rock Krawler lift kit earlier this year. It took 2 months from time of confirmation to delivery to my door.

I have, they said that although the item said it was in stock that the vendor didnt have it. Just seems strange because when I contacted the company directly they quoted in stock with a 3-4 day delivery.
Use @Northridge4x4. They are great and give forum discounts.

How has everyone's experience with extreme terrain been? I placed an order on the 23rd of July for some coils from Rock Krawler and they still havnt even shipped... Today I received an email asking if I had received the items yet??? So far I am not impressed at all with them, and am considering asking for a refund and placing my order directly with Rock Krawler...
Never had a problem with Extreme. Great customer service.

Extreme Terrain is blacklisted as far as I'm concerned. I have only had one order go well and that was my very first order back in 2016. After that, I have had quality issues, CS issues, shipping issues and mostly, lack of communications.

It seems like most here are the exception rather than the rule. Most people that I talk to won't ever use them again.

Now, Northridge 4x4 has always delivered, usually earlier than quoted, have always answered the phone and I have not had any quality issues as of yet. My only gripe with them is if your order is under the free ship amount and they are shipping from multiple warehouses, they charge separate shipping for each warehouse (like Rock Auto). That did frost my cookies and it cost them a sale that day.

Honestly this is more the opinion I was expecting... I'm surprised how many people here are commenting that they've never had an issue! I'm considering cancelling the order and just ordering direct from RK... If it was a full lift Id understand a wait time but its literally only front coils.

Depending on how backed up RK is, you may still have a wait time.
