I tried a bunch of different options to add my front plate back to my Arcus with winch. I really didn’t want to, but the state insists.
Went with an upside down EZ Plate 2.0 from JeepNeeds. It is really secure and can be taken off in a few seconds with no tools. I preferred the look with it on the bottom, but you really can’t see the plate well. I figured that would be obeying the letter but not the spirit of the law and I prefer to keep my friends in blue happy.

Not too shabby. But curious and just a thought. Could you flip the bolts for the Fairleigh and rig up a bracket that way? Then just remove when you need to winch. I really dig that bumper though. What's the weight on it?

It actually doesn’t bolt onto the bumper at all. It is held in place by the pressure between the winch hook and the fairlead. To remove it, just winch out a couple inches and slip it off. There is a lip on the edge with opening so it is really secure. I’ll remove it before any offroading and hopefully remember to put it back on when I hit the pavement.

On the weight, the bumper shell, winch plate and beefy hooks total about 74lbs if I remember correctly. I didn’t notice any appreciable sag in my front suspension even with the winch installed.
