Figured I’d share this here since we’ve had a lot of Gladiator owners asking about this.

We finally released a Hard Top Lift specifically for the Gladiator after testing a bunch of different setups over the past year.

The main goal was just to make hard top removal something one person can actually do without messing with ceiling mounts, straps, or needing a second set of hands.

It’s a rolling lift, so you just line it up, remove the bolts, and raise the top. Stores it safely and you can park right under it to save space. Works with stock setups, lifted trucks, and even with racks (designed to work with FlipTop installed also).

We really tried to make the best product on the market for Gladiator owners:
• Folds up when you’re not using it
• True one-person operation
• No ceiling mounting or complicated setup
• Adjustable height for different builds
• Rolls + locks in place for storage

If you’re planning to go topless this season, worth checking out:

Happy to answer anything about it too

I thought it was going to cost way more than $580. That looks like a great product. I'm adding it to my list for when i eventually get my Glad.

On a side note, I thought they were going to dump the top at the 15 second mark in the video using the other brand . 😄

Do you know what the lift capacity is? Trying to see if this could not only lift the top, but could turn around and have the ability to lift a Smart Cap off the bed if needed (with some rigging of the lift straps obviously). Thanks for any additional info you can provide.

I just took the top of my Gladiator with this lift. RMarsh, I'd put a definite "maybe" on your question. How much does the Smartcap weigh? I'd guess it's probably strong enough, balancing the load might be an issue.

Thank you for the reply. Smart Cap is right at their limit. Company reached out and let me know load limit is 200lbs and Smart Cap is just shy of that. I'd have to rig it to where I wasn't swaying all over the garage, haha, but it's a possibility.

Love the product have one in my garage, not quite tall enough for my 4.5" lift and 42" tires to get above the roof, but with a little manual lift and adjust of the top, I can get it from where it sits on the bed.

I was skeptical at first, because the first competitor that comes in at a lower price then the only other company I know of that makes this product is usually a bad knock off, but this one I will rate as worth the money. I also own one of your door carts.

Once I close on my house I will have to look into getting one since it has a limited space garage.

Would it be able to lift off the top with a Smartcap in place?

As far as I can guess, to remove the HT with a cap in place, you'd need a high ceiling lift that could raise the top straight up above the roofline.

At best, I think you could unclamp the top and slide it back on the rails a foot or so. The hoist only lifts the top a few inches, then you need to swing the whole thing around so the rear pillar on the far side clears the rollbars.

We just bought one and it’s on the way. I know the video shows the freedom panels folded back using your FlipTop - it’ll work the same if we just set them on top, correct?
