I just finished installing DS18 knee panel speakers (Sort of). I noticed DS18 has their speakers wired opposite of the factory wiring diagram and also Stinger and Metra's wiring harness adapter. DS18 has Green as positive. When I tested the speaker, green indeed is positive, even though the wiring diagram has it the other way and also Stinger and Metra's adapters when plugged in are also backwards. I find it odd that the factory wiring diagram, Stringer and Metra got it backwards...
I wonder if all the speakers are backwards.

Correction, Metra 72-6514 are correct, the stinger ones are wrong .
Also the red wolf ones are also correct.
I am guessing Stinger just went off the factory wiring diagram and that apparently is wrong...

Incorrect. The red wolf connectors are wired reversed.

Not Alpine systems, but all the factory speakers in both my base system JL and JT were wired with negative polarity. The Metra adapters maintained the factory polarity. Since I left the factory knee panel speakers in place, I kept negative polarity on the replacement speakers to keep all the speakers in phase.
