I just installed this simple setup tonight to make it easy to wire stuff to the auxiliary switches. All the switches are now screwed to each terminal on the bus bar so all I have to do now is run any wire accessories to the other side of the terminal for each auxiliary switch. I also hooked a 300amp solenoid to sit between the winch and the aux wire to deliver power to the winch only when the aux button is on. Pretty cheap and easy route compared to some of the offerings from other company’s.

I ran a ground from the battery negative post to the top terminal on the bus bar so any wires from accessories can also ground there if needed. I currently have the ground wire from the solenoid in that terminal and of course the winch is grounded to the battery directly.

I’m only mad I didn’t think of this! Looks fantastic and it’s clean.

The install looks great but why didn’t you just get the BadgeGlow Aux Board barrier strip? It’s made for exactly what you are doing and it’s nicely labeled.

Either didn't know about it, or didn't want to pay $65 for it - which I'm in the latter camp. If I can put together something with materials I already have, or for cheaper and come to more or less the same conclusion - I'll save the money.

Edit: Or the product didn't exist three years ago when this was first posted

I purchased mine about 4yrs ago for my 21 Mojave. I think they were a little less back then but figuring in my labor rate actually cheaper than making one.
