Anyone run a wire such as 1AWG or 2AWG direct to a Bus Bar type setup in the bed for powering compressors, inverters and other electronic stuff from the bed?
I have an ALUCAB canopy so it will be enclosed. I am thinking about using a Lynx Power In bus bar, modified to hold fuses. It is a bit overkill, but it keeps the wiring neat and centralizes to one location without having to add external fuses.
Any known issues running a 1AWG or 2AWG cable direct from the battery to the bed?

I’ve been thinking about the same type of thing. I have the RLD cap, very similar situation. My intention is to use a cutoff solenoid near the battery powered by an aux switch so the the bed is only powered when I need it.

I’ve rewired old Jeeps and boats from scratch using marine grade components purchased at boating stores. Should be straight forward.

Shouldn't be - others have run cables back to put auxiliary batteries in the rear of the truck.
Keep them save, shielded, away from heat, etc. which is all obvious.
I've run some smaller wires inside the right frame rail using grommets on the entry and exit points.

I used this (and a few other parts) to make the connection to the battery I put in the back. I used the solenoid pieces on the power line to the winch.

A word of caution...
A 1 AWG wire is rated at 115A. In the truck, that's 1500W of power in the bed.
If you're going to come anywhere near that rating, your battery will drain VERY QUICKLY!
If you plan on using that level of power regularly, you may want to consider installing a deep-cycle house battery in/under the box, and installing a battery isolator to keep it charged and separate from the truck battery.

I have an ARE Cap with tool boxes built in and I installed a Blue Sea System power block. It has 12 taps and is fed by #2AWG from the battery and protected by a 50A inline fuse. Each of the 12 taps are fused. I fed the #2 wire underneath away from anything hot or moving and protected it with "snake Skin".

I installed a Blue Sea System on the back of my ARE Cap tool box passenger side fed with #2AWG wire from the battery and protected by a 50A inline fuse. The wire is run under the vehicle and protected by "Snake Skin". It has 12 fused connectors. So far one is used for the rear are bags and I plan one for my HAM radio and one to charge my Jackery. Hope this helps.
