I finally got a chance to install the factory half doors. I ordered these with my 2021 Mojave in August 2021. I was told it was the first month they became available for Gladiators, so jumped on them.
I had half doors on my 1998 Wrangler (which was also white).
- The install wasn't hard, but there are a bunch of steps.
- I watched a good YouTube video that really helped. I can share if needed.
- While an expensive option (almost $5k), they are great.
- You get more open air then with the windows down.
- You can easily remove the tops and not worry about mirrors or excessive wind, especially on the highway.

taking doors off is free. paying 5k for half doors sounds needlessly expensive unless you like the uppers enough to leave the half doors on year round.

If you do, more power to you. Me? I'll be over here with my front doors off.

I have this benefit, and I didn't have to pay a dime for it. I would like to thank Atticus the DOG for teaching me that all you have to do is hang your head out the window.

I wanted to like these. They're just one of those things that looks better on Wranglers though.

Looks great, ugh I'm jelly, I really want me some half doors. Are the hinge bolts black or color matched normally?

They come black. As part of the fit, you need to torque them so I guess they make them black.

How are the uppers? Do they handle high speed well. Curious how much they will flutter in the wind?

They seem good so far. They have had a little shaking, but very little. I may take it to the dealer to see if they can make any adjustments.

I use a bunji cord on the uppers near the grab handles....Keeps them from shaking above 70MPH.

On a side note, the ones I bought were white. Ive seen more white ones for, by far, for sale than any other color (though I have seen blue and black for sale also.)

The flutter can't be any worse than it was driving around in my 95 YJ with half doors and soft uppers. I did always like the convenience of being able to take the soft uppers off easily, especially since that YJ didn't have AC for this southern humidity in the summers.
