Sounds I should start around $500 and take any decent offer. I’m not too worried about what I get out of them, anything’s better than stacking them outside to dry rot. Sadly I’ve also got the original set of Rubicon wheels to get rid of too but I can’t imagine they are worth much. Might be best to offer to throw them in if anyone shows interested in the tires
I have had my Rubicon wheels listed for sale locally for $200obo with zero offers within a months time. I see fairly new sets of takeoff wheels and tires for less than a $1000 regularly. I really just want some cash and my wheels out of my garage

I haven't tried to sell my wheels yet, but I've seen several posts of people asking around $200 with little to no interest. If I could get $100 out of them, I'd be happy. Like you said, all they're doing is taking up space.

Tomorrow I’ll post the Wildpeaks on FB at $600 and see what happens. My hope is that someone with an IRS refund decides they need a good set of used ATs. If they haven’t had any interest in a week, I’ll pull that down, mount and balance them on the OEM wheels and bump the price up to $650. If that doesn’t attract any attention, I’ll lay some cardboard on my mother in law’s couch and stack them there.

I started at $700 too when I sold my Wildpeaks, same size, same mileage, but no nails. No interest after about 2 weeks in Houston Texas Area.

Ended up dropping them down to $500. Some highschool kid with a lawn business showed up to buy them. Gave them to him for $400. Damn near gave them to him for free but my wife woulda been pissed lol.

You can get almost brand new Rubicon takeoffs (Tires+wheels) for $700 or $800 around here. 700 for 20k used tires, one with a parch in it, is too high. Just the way used tire market is.

That is were I am at. I have my original Rubicon tires and wheels mounted with sensors, with less than a thousand miles on and nobody is interested in buying them.

Sold my set of four used and one new with 15/32 tread remaining for $800. They had around 5K miles on them. People wanted them for the winter as they are three peak snow rated.

I ended up listing them with the spare for $550 OBO. They ended up showing between 11 to 13/32s tread depth with a gauge. I’ll give them a few days and if no one responds drop them down.

Thank you everyone for the advice and your experience selling used tires

Fair enough to get them sold pretty quickly IMO, at least in Texas it seems. I sold a set of the exact same tires back in November, including the spare, that had about 10k miles on them and had 14 responses (on Facebook marketplace) the next morning and sold the same day for $900.

Correction (can’t see how to edit). I got $800 for them, not $900. Sorry about that.

My original thought was to list them at $700 and come down from there. I'd really like to get $500 but I'm not even locked in on that.

If you don’t mind the hassle of shipping you might see if Facebook marketplace has a way of listing your item in a specific location and see what happens. Not sure what might happen but maybe there’s a bigger market here in Texas. I eliminated two as scammers immediately, but the half dozen or so others I replied back to all seemed genuine. Marketplace is free so maybe it’s worth a try. IMO you should be able to get $600-$700 here pretty easy as there’s an average of 1.8 trucks for every household so you’ve got a huge market. ?

That is definitely something I’ll keep in mind. Now that you mentioned it, everything I’ve bought from forum members has all been from Texas members. I’m actually closer to Texas than to Oklahoma City
