Gurus, please enlighten me. I am headed down to OBX next week and plan on doing a fair bit of beach cruising. In what direction should I take my Falcon SP2 3.3 shock settings to get the "best" ride? For daily/highway driving I run them set to 2.6 which to me is a firm yet controlled ride.

Should I soften them up or keep them firm for the sand? My intuition tells me to keep them firm as it will control the washboard type terrain much better than if they are soft, at least at speed.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Soften them.
But it's just the beach man. I wouldn't even bother getting out and adjusting them. I go to OBX often and just drive up. I don't change anything else.

What Javier said. Waste of time to get out and adjust them. I doubt your going more than 20mph. I think there’s a speed limit, right?

I didn't bother adjusting them. That said I tend to think leaving them firm is the way to go in sand.
