Thanks. I was running AEV HC 3" springs. They are hands down the BEST constant load springs. I still had a tiny rake to level stance with the camper + swingout tire carrier and bike rack (~1200lb). I cannot recommend them enough for a minimum 700lb constant load. You need that weight in back with these spring though, otherwise you'll have a lot of rake.
Thanks so much for the info. I'm currently running EVO 4.5" heavy duty read springs with my Metal Cloak Game Changer 3.5 lift / front springs. Love the ride / trail articulation with the weight but they are pretty maxed. They just aren't cutting it with the weight. Most appreciated!

I have noticed that a few U tube over landers are going to full size rigs and not doing the rough trails as much. I have a totally modded JTR but really prefer the road trips with my Ram 2500 4x4. With the terrible resale of the Glad , I am married to it for a while. Good luck with the change and keep going. There will always be Jeeps.
You nailed all of it! I'm in my mid-40's and all of the couples we explore with have full size trucks and it's more about the "comfortable adventure" now rather than the remote exploration that my heavily modded JTR was originally built around 5 years ago. Life stages change for us and I'm super fortunate to have been able to do the "rough stuff" with the JTR for sure. The Scout Camper has really been a game changer for us to work remote and still explore places Van Life can't take us. I know I can always come back to a Jeep :)

YouTube Creators changing rigs is more a testament to keeping viewers engage than an endorsement. They are in a cycle of building a rig up, play with it for awhile and when the views slip, going on to the next one.

Are these the only (2) obligatory ones? I do feel honored of course but I'd like the full send off...haha.
Stick around and be a troll to some people. What are they going to ban you? You already have a foot out the door, and the other one on a banana peel. LOL Always hate seeing good people go.

Exactly... so many content creators that can swap between JTs/JL 392s and say how great and terrible each are that a potential purchaser never has the true story. And to preface, I am not a youtube content creator, I just support my local shop that builds my rigs :) Rig stays the same but the set-up changes every couple years.

Ha, I just don't have it in me to pick a fight with someone I don't know on a topic that doesn't concern me... again, I'll try this time around... j/k

The guy you pick a fight with doesn't know the topic either most of the time.

Tree farmer now. Retired first responder.
Congrats on your new rig!

For long hauls and comfort, bigger (fullsize) is better.

Jeeps are one of the few vehicles that stick around for generations. But, as the later models are now computers on wheels, the everlasting life of Jeeps may end.

Be well. Jeep, ah, or Truck on.
