Fender chop Fender extension

Howdy! I have been working on building the ultimate daily rock lander. I live down a long grave road and wanted more coverage with stock fender flares that have been chopped. This is what I came up with. If there is interest I will post a how2 video.

damn that's a lot of offset too. not an easy task to keep all that covered

Why not also use mud flaps?

If you have to back over an obstacle they will get caught bettween the tire and the obstacle. I also trimmed the rear flare extention to match the oem fender. Also adding the piece back into the fender stiffens up the flimsy fender chop.

I would love to see a how to on this. I chopped the front on my 2021 due to the bracket for the black part of my 2 piece fenders was broken and some of the plastic welds has started to come loose.

I belive that's a Hyperlite Broadcast (4' 8), top of the rack, back there if I'm not mistaken. What wake boat ya rockin' ?

Did you fab up these extensions yourself or buy em from somewhere? I was looking at buying some extensions but thought they were ridiculously priced for the amount of material that you get n what doesn't seem to be too complex of a manufacturing process(IMHO).
Interested in your how to, looks great.
