can someone please explain to me what the difference is between the Max Tow package fenders vs the Sport S package fenders?

I want to do an LED conversion however there is a lot of confusion (on me end) as to what will fit and what wont.

I have a Max Tow and a Tazer mini, what more do I need?

Hey! Do you want to send a photo of your front end to us and we can determine what size bulbs you need? Usually that is the easiest way to confirm this.

Do you want to go the full Rubicon-style LED strip fender light conversion, or just put LED bulbs in the existing sockets?
And are your fenders painted, with DRLs and signals, or black, with just signals?

If you've the painted fenders with dual lamps, this is what I used:
Signals: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RNCBD72

DRLs: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W7HVS57

These work without any reprogramming required (but I did anyway.) Make sure that the bulbs are fully inserted into the sockets, or they'll pop back out.

I appreciate the offer but what I'm looking to do is convert to the LED fender lights that come with the LED package from factory.

If you have the OEM dual bulb halogen fender light (one for drl, one for blinker) you can swap in the LED fender light. You'll need a programmer (tazer, jscan, etc,) to change the settings though, dealer can't/won't do it yet that I know of

The Max Tow and the Sport S with color matched fender flares use the same light assembly as the Overland and Rubicon so OEM are an excellent LED Option.

thanks, I wasn't sure if OEM would work. I ended up ordering the Quake LED kit with sequential turn signals. If I have trouble with it, ill try OEM next.

I'm in the same boat. Sport S diesel with color matched fenders. I just ordered the Quake LED kit QTE1023. Hopefully will arrive next week and we'll see how it goes. Maybe we can compare notes?

Let me know how the swap goes please! Just learned my Sport S with Max Tow and LED does not include fender LEDs. Would much prefer a full swap and not just bulbs. Everything says nothing fits on sport models though so confirmation would be awesome. Thank you

See my post above. If your fender lights look like this, you should be able to swap in most if not all aftermarket light housings. The quake and Morimotos for sure fit. I believe the only ones I've seen that don't are ones like American Adventure Labs that require a fender chop and mount into the metal fender support tabs of the Jeep's body, on those you just need to make sure you pick the Overland/Sport mounting option at checkout and not the rubicon version which comes with a different mounting bracket.

Yes! thank you. Waiting on my truck still to confirm but that is my hope.
Do you know if we still need the taser if we have the rest of the LED package?

I didn't need to program on the Morimotos, that's why I went with them. I can't confirm on the quakes though.

If you order the led package on sport/sport s it only upgrades the headlights and fog lights, it's strange for sure. I believe the daytime running lamp accents is just the led ring around the headlight, not the fender lights.
