I just got the final estimate to fix the issues with my wiring harness...which was fried leading to the flat-4/7-pin. They have to replace the ENTIRE wiring harness in my truck as well as the flat-4/7-pin connector itself.
$4,417 and change ???
They're not sure when the harness will be in and are looking at other dealerships to see if they have one to try and get one sooner. I guess my trip to VA the first week of October is out
I will be painting the top portion of the plug on the trailer to ensure that there's absolutely ZERO chance of putting it in upside down (even though I am 99 44/100% sure I didn't but still...).
Let this be a VERY expensive lesson to us all to ensure that we put the plugs for our trailers in correctly.
