I've read a couple forums about financing now and we all know that certain pages have great deals from certain dealers. Now let's take a look at who is finding the best rates for financing. I know credit unions typically have the best rates around and obviously all of these rates are going to be depend on your credit score. That being said, let's just assume as a general rule of thumb that we all have 'good' scores.

Just a few I have checked out so far:
Teacher's Credit Union- 4.95% is the best I saw from them.
Financial Plus Credit Union- 2.99%
Alliant Credit Union- 3.24%

If I finance at 84 months will my rate be outrageous? I'm noticing it goes higher the longer the loan is stretched out

That is generally true with car loans.

USAA is 2.69-3.19 I think depending on loan term. The Fed just lowered interest rates and loans will catch up soon. I wouldn’t be surprised if Chrysler isn’t competitive. They beat everyone else in 2015 when I bought my Ram.

I heard about them lowering rates as well. Hopefully here in a few months when I'm able to finance/buy then I'll be in a better situation for loan rates! I guess that's the one good thing about having to wait for Hydro Blue...? When I was talking with the dealer briefly about financing, it was mentioned that Chrysler may be able to match. I don't think I care where it is through if the rate is the lowest. Correct me if that is the wrong way to think!

I am getting 2.31 thru Keesler Federal Union for 72 months and no extra charge for GAP. That is a special they have for long time members.

Dang! I'd probably stretch to 72 months if I grabbed that rate. Cheapest I've seen is 2.99% and that's at 60 months.

Bank of America was the best I found a month back at 3.14% for 60 months. Did not require me to be a customer or anything. A lot of the credit unions I looked at around Colorado were around 4% or I did not qualify for membership. My local bank was 4.24%. I saw better rates through some other companies but you had to use their car buying program, no thanks.

I just got 3.24% for an 84 month but its through a credit union for local Fire and Police only. the rate was so good I couldn't pass it up though. thats for 100% financing, and GAP for only $249 one time payment.

Good for you, expect rates to go up slightly... Mortgages are still low but new autos are rising... anything between 3.5. and 4 is solid right now....
