Decided I wanted to add a quicker to access, and better fire extinguisher after a guy in a local group watched his Cherokee burn to the ground a few weeks ago and I needed a “mounted, quick release, fire extinguisher within reach of the driver” to pass tech check at a local off-road park.
Used a quadratec flashlight mount to attach an element E50 to the seat rail.
Since the E50 is a bit smaller around than you typical D cell flashlight I glued in a 1/4” thick piece of rubber to the mount and now it hold firm.
It is now mounted securely, is super easy to access and is completely out of sight when driving. 10/10 would recommend.
