I was told by the dealer to expect delivery about 8/5 yesterday
Congrats! Please keep us in the loop with updates, and post a pic when your Granite Crystal baby comes! ;{

I've officially given up on GCM..goodby GCM Club, hello Billet Silver Club - Ordered 7/17 in "F" Status as of yesterday.
Dammit. Dealer offered me an inbound Silver LE this morning. Thinking about joining you and @gladtohaveit. If Jeep gave any indication that they may start building these, I may keep waiting. Said I was going to hold out for Granite, but Christmas (or later) delivery is looking more and more realistic.

I wasn't even waiting for an LE. I just wanted a Sport S Max Tow. I already have a Trackhawk in GCM and it looks awesome so I wanted matchy matchy...oh well I guess variety is the spice of life with my switch to Billet Silver.

You know my feelings here based off of the decision I made. I have not regretted it one bit. I drove it to work today with the top and doors off and loved every second of it. I checked in on my order today just for fun and immediately regretted it because I felt the same frustration I had 3 weeks ago.

Thanks. We will see what happens. It seems like the GCM is a giant clusterfuck. Regardless of model.

Congratulations, here's wishing you fast shipping.

Tell us more about your build, matching fenders/top? 6 or 8 speed? Bed liner? I think these 3 specifically are the items slowing things down. Maybe steel bumper and forward camera as well?
Yes fender, yes cam, no bumper, no bed liner.

Check dannyhvac is build sheet tracker to see all details!

Ok, let me correct. Yes bedliner apparently. I thought I said no to it but I just checked my physical paperwork and it’s on there... and it’s on the tracker too.

Just called the ā€œConā€cierge. Top paint not matching yet and they are still working on it. No change so don’t waste your time calling today. Have a great weekend. And don’t look on the ā€œTook deliver of your JT?ā€ post. You’ll only get angrier. I had a friend in Texas send me a pic of a white Rubi and said ā€œthese things are everywhere!ā€ I thought of unfriending him.

Complaining simply doesn't help. Jeep will start building them when they are good and ready to, and may or may not let us know. Concierge line is worthless. @JeepCares is worthless. Jeep chat is worthless. My dealer is trying to get any info out of their Jeep reps and getting nothing either. The lack of information or any kind of build start date 4 months after ordering Granite LEs is beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable from a customer point of view.

Told my dealer yesterday I'd swap with the Silver LE he has inbound (1-2 weeks), unless he gets firm build dates on Granite LEs in the next few days (which, lets be honest, ain't happenin').

I am right there with you. My dealer has a white and silver LE coming in. They both have delivery dates of 8/7 so if I don't have at least a VIN by then I going with the silver. Not to mention, he is knocking some off the price for Jeeps incompetence.

I'm starting to tinker with the idea of using this incompetence to get the dealer to give me a deal on a Mopar lift. Though this debacle is not their fault (though part of my basis of agreeing to an order was their 4-6 week expected time frame), I wonder if I can get a decent amount of labor costs kicked down. I saw this having waited only 45 days, compared to the 24365234563456 days endured by the LE orderers among us.

I just did a search on AutoTrader and eBay for a Rubicon Gladiator just for grins and you know what I saw? A bunch of red, black, white and silver Rubi’s out there. How boring would JT life be if we all drove a red, black, white or silver JT? So go ahead and make the jump to one of these colors so you can wave at all the other look-a-likes and say ā€œhey, I’m glad I didn’t wait for my GCLE so I could be like everyone else.ā€ Whoopie! And one day before the next ice age I will be driving a rare albeit Late Edition Granite Chrystal Rubi and smiling as I wave to all the look-a-likes in our JT community. Don’t give up on GCLE.
