First Granite Crystal VIN# Post Here

I know what ya mean. Us dairy farm kids had to sit in the back of the bus with the windows cracked open, even in the winter... not sure why.. just that we where never allowed up front with the cool kids.

Thought I’d start this thread so all who have a LE Granite Crystal ordered can watch this thread and then the first VIN posted will alert all of us to double check our status.

Thanks for starting this thread! I also paid down payment, signed dealer paperwork, received VON, but no status yet... my dealer did say, FCA rep told him Granite delivery won’t be until Aug thru Oct.

Yeah, I’m thinking Late June building, for July, August delivery....it’s just a hunch....I’m probably going to be wrong. Lol.

Just checked on my granite and still in C status with no VIN assigned. Hopefully we dont have to wait until August. There goes most of the summer

I know right. I was hoping may or June but it looks like even later. You'd think with it being a launch edition you'd get it in 8-12 weeks at the most.

So the "other" LE colors that have VINs, look like they are scheduled to start production the week of June 10. Think it's safe to say for us "special" Granite folks, it will be later in the summer before they go into production. I'd guess July production is optimistic right now.

Ugh. And to think I changed to Granite in the 11th hour after being positive I wanted White since the beginning!

You should be able to change your color. I thought about it, it, after driving my Jeep topless and naked today, I’m sticking with granite.

I was told to check back sometime next week

I've been told that every time I checked. On monday they said "the vin should be assigned in the next few days" - that was the first positive reinforcement I've had from them for some time.

I just checked again today, and got "We do not yet have a vin assigned but it should soon!"

classic run around. realllllly don't wanna be watching people find their freedom while im sitting on my thumb waiting for granite.
