First Granite Crystal VIN# Post Here

Looks like there will be at least two of us grinding it out on 400 with GC LE’s. Day 1 plans for a winch and light bar across the windshield so we can tell ours apart ;-)

Love to hear you guys talk about your mods... in a couple years I may actually be the ONLY stock GCLE on the road! Rareness works for me... every way you figure! ;{

I'm only doing minor things, I plan on doing an exhaust and steps, along with a winch and a ham radio. The rest is minor stuff.

Started buying parts this week. Figure if I can't get my JT, I can at least start the pile of add-ons. Floor mats, bed rails, fender foam and winch on the way.

And if this keeps up much longer, I'll just build the whole LE one piece at a time...

Yeah, i put a bunch of stuff on my JK but everything (except the boar grill, that was just cool) was functional based on a need. Front bumper to support the winch (yes, i actually use it quite a bit, rescued a Toyota FJ with it (did you know the FJ stands for Fake Jeep?)), rear bumper to get better lighting for in the woods, front lighting, better tires and wheels for the Georgia mud, side steps that did not hold that mud in place quite as bad as the stock ones, and recently upgraded the radio to an Apple Car Play version as the stock navigation system was just awful. No lift, nothing over the top for show, all functional. 107,000 miles and counting on a 2012, not letting it leave the family, going to my son

SOOO, I just spoke to Barbara at the Jeep Concierge line and she said "I was just informed today that the Granite Crystal Launch Editions are to begin VIN assignment today and tomorrow and production by the end of this week". I asked about all these others stuck in D and D1 status for 20-30 days and my favorite part "ya know, there's a lot of misinformation out there on forums and other sources. They are wanting to get all these LE's completed and delivered really bad and I would always encourage you to call directly to us or your dealer for information". So basically, they do know we exist and read what we say! STRENGTH IN NUMBERS!

AJT Designs Key Fob: $41.99 (simply install the guts from original fob, much smaller)

Ordering next week:
Stubby Antenna
FCA Granite touch up paint (to spray the new key fob)
(maybe) pre-order the Rockslide Engineering Steps
(maybe) reserve pre-order for the Nuthouse Tech 3

While I'm remaining hopeful, I still don't know if I trust that guy. No proof of anything, just a VIN number that won't show in the tracker.
