Still no word. Looks like the 20th delivery will hold true. First thing, check to make sure the BT speaker is there. Those rat finks stealing the speaker.

Yup, still in I as of this AM.

Has there been any serious discussion about compensation for the delays? Like maybe throwing in the 2 inch lift?

Pipe dream I know...

Looks like mine is still incarcerated in JBS storage in Toledo, 18 days and counting! Wonder if I went to Toledo, if I could at least get Family Visitation rights? Could at least VISIT my poor, forgotten, dust & cobweb covered, GCMJTLE, “Big Buck”... could try to bring a little brightness into his cold, dark, existence... back in that shadowy, farthest corner, in the back of the Gladiator JBS detention facility... try to keep his spirits up... “You’ll get outta here Buck... someday... someday soon... you’ll be coming home... I promise!” Just hope I can keep it together myself... when I tell him that... gotta be strong... for Buck! :brokenhearted: ;{

This really isn't right what's going on with the last few Granite LEs. It's bad enough that they strung along all of us for almost 6 months with these "Launch" builds, but then when they start cranking them out there's still 33 of 438 (including the 4 of you on here) that don't seem to be making any progress. It's really BS and Jeep needs just finish these. One Granite LE was completed on 9/12, 3 on 9/13, and none since then.

Updates on the table mostly reflect transit/delivery updates (since there hasn't been any progress on the last 4 builds for a few weeks now).

I bought my plane ticket to ID last night for 9/30. Mine better be there by then. ;)

Just got the email from my dealer. It arrived today. So 2 working days to get from the end of the rail to delivery. Unfortunately I’m still not back until Friday.

Just picked it up! Looks even better in person

Gorgeous! Best color! Best Badging colors! Best factory stance!
Drive it and let us know the REAL deal... (all the crappy things about it!) Every review, even the infamous “10 things I hate about my Gladiator!” videos... always, basically, say “everything is better than I expected! Steering’s a little soft, wish the small back window was ‘powered’, and antennas gotta go... gonna get a stubby!” But all the other “hates” are, ‘wish I waited for the color I really wanted!’, ‘I’ll wait till these 33’s wear out, then go bigger!’, ‘wheelbase is SOOOO much longer than my JLU!’... (yeah... it’s a truck!)! ;{

Whoa WildJD! Kayakmike claimed 4190 months ago. Besides, Big Buck will be in your stable before you know it. Prayers for Big Buck. :please:
I wonder if there is a way to know (or if Jeep would even tell us) who really is number 4190. That’d be an interesting benchmark.

Nope. Don't know who #1 is any more than #4190. Is #1 one of the prototypes they built for the photos when they first advertised it (before you could order), or first one sold to a customer? Did they actually build 4190 (not likely)? Will they eventually build more that 4190? Do the ones they are shipping without BT speaker at a lower price count as part of the 4190? Would the numbering be based on VIN, or build order (since we know VIN has zero basis on build order)? Someone at Jeep would know those answers, but because you could look at it so many different ways the actual # wouldn't really matter. It's all marketing hype anyway.

@WildJD, while stuck in JBS, is still further along than @Munchos, @Sean0170 and @NoiseBoy303 who are stuck in I. There are 33 in the current block of 438 builds that are "stuck" somewhere before shipping. There are still Granite LEs getting spit out that are after the block we've been watching, and I'd bet they start building more Granite LEs for dealer allotment after they finish these (well, hopefully after they finish the actual orders!).

I’m leaning toward the realization, that there truly isn’t any rhyme or reason, no logical explanations, to what we’re experiencing here. I believe it all boils down to bureaucratic paper shuffling. Some get built, or shuffled around in status... others get overlooked, or fall through the cracks, or even delivered, without any upgrade in status... and all, in classic bureaucratic fashion, without any explanation, or anyone taking responsibility, for ANY of it! (Except the pat on their back, when they hand you the keys! THAT they’ll, smilingly, take ALL the responsibility for!) ;{

welp, got back in town to pick up my, long awaited Gladiator (that came in the same day I left town last week), and wifeypoo says it needs 35’s. Oh such wife issues. So i’m going to let the dealer toss in a Warn winch and add 35” Wild Peaks over stock LE wheel. I’ll wait and see if I think it “needs” a leveling kit or little lift. Did order a soft top for it a month ago and it’s there waiting for me once the Jeep is done. So, I’m waiting another week to finally get it. after 5 months, another week won’t hurt. Wifey and I did drive it yesterday. She likes it a lot. She was comparing it to our old JKU. Huugly difference in quiet, stable and quality ride. Now, what are you guys doing for a paint protection?

Wrap it with clear self-healing vinyl... or wax it with $10 Turtlewax Ice ‘Seal & Shine’... outlasted high dollar “Ceramic” applications in several (months long) ‘realworld’ YouTube auto detailer tests! ;{

Have never done “ceramic” applications and have two cars in showroom condition, daily drivers that are 12 and 9 years old. Hand wash, buff and wax. Dad did the same with his cars. Guess I’m old school and don’t mind a little labor of love. Oh, and always park in the furthest spot in the parking lot. Good for your health and the car.

$79, $89, $69, dollars for a 16Oz. bottle of “Ceramic”... a few ceramic molecules “infused” into a regular sealer wax, does NOT make the finish “Ceramic”! Add to that the couple hundred for a “Specialist” to apply it... and I’ll take the $10 buck Turtlewax, and a little elbo-grease, anyday! Like they say, a real man mows his own lawn, and waxes his own ride!:muscle: ;{
