So dealers have access to order banks, get first deliveries, sell to people in their locality who did not order through them, and who did not participate during the Jeep prescribed window of opportunity.

Dealers do not deliver LEs ordered through them during the same tightly controlled window, sold to Jeep's most loyal enthusiasts.

Yeah there are now two confirmed on the forum of the same color I picked (Silver), both with higher VIN/VON numbers than me but are already done, yet as of Wednesday this week mine was still in D1 status. Happy for them, but kind of annoyed also.

The whole LE experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. Happy for those members as well. But what was the point of ordering so early now?

The only reason i haven't just canceled it is because of the dash and i don't want to screw my salesman over.

My dealer emailed me back when I inquired about a lift. Says he has an LE. HOW IN THE HELL DOES HE HAVE AN LE WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE NAMED ORDERS AND MINE WAS THE VERY FIRST ONE HE ENTERED AT 7:04am ON 4/4?

I’M REALLY BEGINNING TO GET UPSET WITH FCA OVER THIS WHOLE CLUSTER.

Ps. I’m leaving now to go look.

This is complete Bull Shit! When I’m in WI, ordered a White LE and I am in D1 status and just down the road they are selling one off the lot?? Ugh!!

Before I bought mine .Dealers owner said all le ones weren’t sold out .And they could have me one no problem..Said the order banks were open .I saw they got two these week.And they been sold already ..It didn’t matter to me .I got a better deal on mine.Same as le without badges and black wheels that’s all .And the dash.Which isn’t expensive to change to be a le.Or they had some presales.That got canceled.And sold to dealers

Don’t feel bad. My order was in on 4/3 so I’d chalk it up to building not only 4,190 LEs but also building JTRs, JT Overlands, JT Sport and Sport + as well as those pesky JLs, JLRs, JLURs and such. The logistics alone in getting them out of the factory, I’m sure, would boggle the mind.

I think you are exactly right. My dealer could easily have my LE in a week on their lot for sale before other LE’s are delivered if I would have bought the white Rubi that showed up 2 days ago. I think it all goes back to this......
