First post here.

Just got my gladiator about a month ago and took it on a 3k mile road trip up into Canada this last week.

I'm happy to say that there were no issues with it at all! The gas mileage was a little rough at 16mpg total, but I did have my gorhino bedrack on for the trip and around 600lbs of gear, so that might be expected.

One thing that I was curious if others have experienced though...has anybody done night driving on two lane roads? I think every third car on my trip up at night flashed me thinking that my highbeams were on, including most semis. I have the LED light package, and they definitely are bright but I've never had this issue before!

I had everyone and his brother flashing me since I got my lift. Recently drove to Minnesota to see my son and grandkids and had them adjusted once I got there. No more issues. It’s not a matter of them being LED’s, it’s a matter of where they’re pointed. Just adjust them and you’ll be fine.

That's great to know. As CerOf pointed out too, I bet the extra weight on the bed doesn't help either. Not sure why I didn't think of adjusting them, so thanks for the tip!

I constantly get flashed by two individuals when commuting to and from work, I know its two specific individual because of distinct vehicles, These LED lights are really bright, I always see wildlife on the roadside (I see it as a plus) oncoming traffic not so much. One of the individuals actually followed me into the gas station and tried to yell at me for always leaving the high beams on until I showed her that I did not in fact have them on, she does not flash me anymore, lol

I've noticed that JL/JLU/JT OEM LED headlights are notoriously misaligned from factory. I've encountered countless stock Jeeps over the past few years that appear to have their high beams on. Most of them I realize they're low beams because they're also running fog lights.

As someone who has noticed this as an outsider, I will say that many of you need to adjust your lights. It's not a matter of LED, brightness, whatever. It's a matter of misaligned headlights. The first thing I'll do when I finally pick mine up is adjust the headlights.
