If you are referring to Beasley Knob I think it has been a badge trail for a while. At least late 2023. It can be a difficult one too depending on past weather conditions.

They snuck it in there. It looks to be closed or I’d stop on the way home. Maybe I’ll stop in SC instead. That one is new as well I think.

It also said closed on the BOH app. Oh well. It was raining like crazy when I went through there.
Yeah, that place is very dangerous if the conditions are bad. I'm trying to get that badge by the end of June.

I can’t believe I’ll have to drive this thing back to GA for that, and if it rains, it’s a bust.

I did fine. I already had Colorado and Utah pinstripes. It was time for some salt stripes. It was pretty fun. I put the shocks in Baja mode and went nuts. I did lots of it around 40mph. I even got to use the winch. No. I didn’t get stuck. A tree fell across the trail. A sawzall, 180’ of winch line, and a snatch block. Trail is mostly clear now. Took about two hours. It was about 16” in diameter. And I made friends with a small rattler. We were friends from a safe 10’ distance. :)

Looks like you had a good time. Wish I’d have seen this before today, I would have met you out there. Only times I’ve had to winch here were like you to move trees or the occasional pull someone out of the sugar sand. The Mojave loves the wide open parts of the trail.

I was loving the sand sections. Fast and smooth. I really got to test out the ecliks. Wow are they amazing in Baja mode.
