I had the Blue ox towbar, baseplate, light wiring and Stay n Play Duo braking system installed on my Overland. It only takes about 10 minutes to hook up/unhook to the back of the motorhome...Jeep manual makes it sound more complicated than it is.

I had never heard of the Stay n Play Duo. Thanks, I’ll look into it.

I was told that the JL kit is too short for the Gladiator

Plus looking at the directions that is just stupid, you might as well take the body off the frame, it would be quicker. The harness that I had on my JK was simple to install and did the exact same thing

I just got mine set up to flat tow behind my diesel pusher. I have the same set up on my F-250 as the JT. It’s a Blue Ox. Both on my vehicles are very easy to put them in neutral and hook up to the RV. I wouldn’t mess with a trailer.
Were you in Georgia this past weekend? I was up there and started heading back to Florida this past Monday. Definitely saw a lifted black or Granite JT being flat towed behind an RV. Trying to remember which day I saw it, but I want to say I was on 400 South and saw it heading north. 'Bout broke my neck looking over from my Sting Gray JTR.

I'm using Maximus-3 tow hooks, a Blue Ox tow bar, and for lights, I used a double pole 4 way switch to do the brake lights. Fairly simple.

Neither, I used the Maximus-3 tow hooks. Much cleaner look, no loss of clearance and very strong.

EDIT: Link.. https://maximus-3.com/jl-bumper-accessories-/jl-tow-loops#/
I bought the same type of setup but from LoD offroad to use the D-rings instead of a baseplate. I've had thier bumpers for years. They have adapters for both Blue Ox and Roadmaster

I also use the Ready Brute Elite for the tow bar and braking (mechanical)
