Even if I don’t want to rock climb?
The lockers are useful beyond rock climbing. If you go off road you will appreciate having the swaybar disconnect and the lockers. Rubicon's hold value better and in the evert you ever want to sale your Jeep Rubicons sale faster than non Rubicons. A lot of Jeep owners end up making modifications in effort to get there Jeep as capable as a Rubicon. Whatever you buy you will have fun and if you are a typical Jeep owner you will spend a lot of money $$$$ personalizing your Jeep.

I really like the Mojave, but I have a bit of thinking to do. I’ve always driven sports cars so I guess it truly depends what people consider “off road” haha. Dirt roads, trails, up to camping sites would be my thing. I live in Colorado but i have no clue how capable a car has to be to get to 80% of stuff. I can’t really imagine me wanting to go driving over big rocks for fun. But everything changes in time.

The real thing to consider between the rubi and the mojave is gonna be if you want a lift. The rubi suspension isnt all that special so you sell it for 400 and buy the lift you want. The mojave suspension is what makes it a mojave. So you basically can do a 2" spacer lift with shock extensions or else you may as well have bought a rubicon. That said, 2" is enough to run 37's so its not a huge turn off but there are definitely a lot less options in terms of lifting the mojave than the rubicon. I also wouldnt let value sway you too much, rubicons do hold their value the best in the JL side but on the gladiator side i'd be shocked if it isnt the mojave that ends up with a better resale in 3 years.

I highly doubt I’d change the suspension. 37’s look awesome, I actually saw one yesterday my wife thought was awesome. But for myself, I don’t think I’d go there tbh. Me being new to Jeep and this type of vehicle it’s hard to say what I would or wouldn’t change on it.

Going over big rocks has never been an attraction for me either. However, whenever I go off roading with my son he always finds a boulder to take his tacoma over. In either case non rubi/rubi you will find plenty of trails and roads to explore in Colorado!

Good to know! I mean I’ve done trails in old 2002 Wranglers non rubicon so I imagine a mojave would be just fine lol.

Challenger the one thing you will learn from these forums is that everyone with a Rubicon tells you to buy a Rubicon. Everyone with a Mojave will tell you to buy a Mojave. Now when OhGawdiator comes out that has the Mojave suspension and the Rubicon front locker and sway bar with the Hybrid engine option that will be the one to buy. I have a Mojave buy that.

So it’s every forum on the internet? Haha. Nah I’ve got good info on here that’s helped tremendously in picking stuff! Confirming my thoughts too. But yeah, a 392 Mojave with front lockers would be an instant buy for me!

If they would only add Max Tow to the OhGawdiator it would be the perfect Jeep! Can't wait for it to come out.

check 'leatherseats.com' as well as Katzkin. They offer more options.
One thing I didn’t realize is you get all the nice leather accent pieces with the leather seats. That’s kinda lame.
