Fog Light Pattern Alignment

Recently purchased truck and previous owner swapped out the bumper to a Poison Spyder Crawler steel bumper and reused the factory LED fog lights. It appears these are mounted incorrectly and the pattern is more of an X, versus - -

After snapping a few pics from behind the bumper, I believe these are factory LED lights from the plastic bumper?

Any suggestions on how these can be mounted properly in this bumper?

Start with the manufacturer and see what lights are supported for that bumper.

It looks like he just used what he had and made it fit.

Trade the left to right and right to left (see if that helps)…if that doesn’t work a grinder to set that mount ring free, to rework it to your vertical wanted alignment then weld it back in.

The fog lights need rotated.

It's meant to goes with an angry grill lol. Rotate to where it's level and drills new holes.

I would choose the #40138 mounting kit from RIGID. In your case, you can adjust or change the mounting bracket.

Not many know the actual reason behind fog lights. They are designed to help the driver see the lines in the road, that are technically called fog lines. They are not meant to illuminate anything further than 5-10’ in front of and no higher than the center of the light. That’s how they were designed to work, low enough so they don’t illuminate the moisture in the fog and reflect back into the driver ms eyes. They are not driving lights! Check with the manufacturer for the proper way to aim them. Those lights above have reflectors that are supposed to be level.
