So a friend just pointed out that my stabilizer may be flipped. I installed myself and even had a reputable shop do my alignment and they didn’t mention it. So my question is, does it matter the orientation of the stabilizer if it’s not a through shaft?

Pic of mine for reference:

I installed the same stabilizer on both my JT's. I realized a couple weeks later that they are installed in different orientations on each truck. I can't tell a bit of difference and there's no clearance issues on either one. I truly don't think it matters for this type of stabilizer. I'm no expert though and I'm sure there's some scientific reason why it should be done differently. At least one of my trucks is correct.

BTW, You Tube video shows it opposite of how you have it. But who's to say his way is correct.

I’ve been running this stabilizer in this orientation for over 15k miles with no issues.

I won't say it's wrong based on the fact you're running an aftermarket mount.

Mine has been installed like this, per the instructions for the last 3 years...... picture as of now

It's flipped. If you have no clearance issues, and turns lock to lock. I don't see a problem.
