Should I flip with body towards wheel??

While you have it off the brackets I would also measure the travel - full compression and full extension. After you remount it, turn wheels full lock side/side and make sure the steering stops are hitting before the SS is reaching its limits.

Shaft supposed to be in the middle, to put it farther away from rocks and such that might get spit up by the tire if you're turning right.
